Why are we making this website?

Every year, a new group of students steps in to lead Austin High School’s Muslim Student Association, and every year, we start fresh. New projects, new faces, new memories. But after a while, we realized something was missing: a way to remember it all.

This website is our attempt to change that, serving as a living record of who we are and what we’ve done. A digital scrapbook of sorts, built by students, for students.

Here, we’ll collect photos from past events, share stories and reflections written by members, and organize a photo history of the MSA as it grows year to year. Each new team will have a place to leave its mark; its own section, its own faces, its own memories.

We also wanted to make it easier for our community to stay connected. Local organizations can sponsor us directly, alumni can donate to support future projects, and students can browse through years of what the MSA has built together.

At its core, this website is about legacy: keeping the story of Muslim student life at Austin High alive. It’s a reminder that every meeting, every event, every idea matters, because together they tell a much bigger story: one of community, service, and belonging.
